Woodland barn

For this first 2017 challenge, I chose a woods scene. I started with black cardstock, layered on a white paper. Using a new edging stamp that I received from a friend, I used dark blue ink and stamped it 3 times with the ink getting lighter each time, a patterning technique that I've not tried before. Then using my black ink and one of my favorite tree stamps,  I stamped it over the blue ink. Then I found a picture of a barn, fussy cut around it and placed it in the middle to create a beautiful winter woodland scene.
