So my 10 year old Granddaughter requested a handmade afghan the end of November…for Christmas this year 🫣🫣. She wanted it to cover her queen size bed, and chose 2 of her favorite colors. Soooo….this Grandma went to work..fast and furious! I chose a ripple stitch as it goes fairly fast and the pattern was 8 rows of the pumpkin color (as that was one full skein of yarn) then 2 rows of green to create the pattern.
She received it at our Christmas yesterday and was more than thrilled .💗💗💗💗…wishing her new beginnings and wonderful memories 💗

Beautiful! I'm sure she was thrilled to receive this beauty full of warmth! I still enjoy wrapping up in quilts my grandma made and knowing she spent time with every piece of fabric!
