Girlie girl

For this challenge I started on white card stock layered on a lime green paper. I colored with my tombow markers a digital image that I had won from My Besties on a previous challenge.  then I doctored her up just a little bit with a ribbon and a start button in her hair.

Clean and simple

For this clean and simple challenge I started with white card stock and layered on a black paper and I stamped a large sunflower on a white paper I stamped half of it in gold and half of it in a blue and then went around it with a coordinating colors with my sparkly gel pens. I put three little yellow studs in the top right corner and then put it all together on the card.

For this  challenge I started on cream colored card stock and then according to the sketch I used my Brownwood like pattern and I found a plain cream paper and took my brown stamp pad a crossed it lightly and then stamped a Green leaf in the center of it ...then and brown in the bottom right corner stamped congratulations right on top of the card stock.

OranGe scarecrow

For this orange challenge ...I had just recently won this digital scarecrow from crafting  Desert  divas.  It really was perfect timing as fall it will soon be upon us and we're all thinking about fall cards. I started with white card stock and as we had learned in another challenge previously, I took my orange and yellow stamp pads and swiftly rubbed them across the paper.

Congratulations banner

For this banner challenge I chose my favorite color purple. I started on white card stock. I found a purple checked paper, cut my little banner pieces and strung them on a purple ribbon. I added three little push flowers as a little bit of extra color and I found a solid piece of purple paper, stamped my congratulations on white and layered that all onto the purple checked and lifted it up with a little bit of foam and added a little piece of leftover ribbon that I had from the top ribbon made a little knot in it just for a little added extra. This was a fun challenge!

Tutorial challenge

This was a fun challenge to get rid of scraps! :-) I will definitely use this again. I chose colors that somewhat coordinated and did it according to the challenge rules and guidelines and then I decorated it with some flowery stamps that I had and stamped thinking of you in a little more solid area.

Sketch challenge

This was a fun challenge to help use up a few scraps! I started with a white card stock base and found this somewhat matching coordinated figured papers and then the lime  paper. I stamped the thinking of you sentiment on the bottom according to the challenge but thought it needed a little extra something so then I added a second sentiment which was happy birthday on top of the oval. I added a little leaf to the bottom of the oval just address the card up a little bit.

2

For the word/number challenge I had the perfect paper...it is stamped all over with happy birthday on it and different fonts, sizes and different colors. Then I got out out my cricket machine and cut out the number 2.  I layered it all onto a yellow card stock for a little extra color. And it will be the perfect birthday card for a little two-year-old :-)

Fall colors

Oh how I love fall! The colors are also beautiful. While I had my embossing machine out I found this fun pumpkin pattern so I embossed it on Orange. I layered it onto a brown paper card stock. Then in my scrap pile I found a fun fall figured paper that has a little bit of shimmer shine and gloss to it.  I took my medium-sized scallop punch and used it on another shiny fall patterned paper. I pop that up with a little bit of sticky foam and then to keep the card somewhat clean and simple I just added a little leaf stamp down in the bottom left corner.

Butterfly

I have not had my embossing machine out in quite a while so I thought it would be fun to get it out. I started with white card stock and I embossed on Orange just a random flower pattern. I went to my scrap pile and I found kind of a brown orange tan figured piece so I used bmy largest punch to make the background and then a little bit different  colored orange and then a textured cream to match the figured paper and stamped thinking of you on it in black.    I added the orange monarch butterfly to finish the card off.   Orange....what a great color!!!! 🙃🙃

Square duck

For  this challenge I cut my paper brown wavy paper the long way, and folded it in half. I cut a square from another brown figured paper and I cut another square from a yellow checked paper, and layered them all. I had a sticker for the sentiment and added the little duck from my stash. Finished it off with the 3buttons up in the corner.

Birthday wish

Then I found the words wish and added those for the challenge part.  Then I looked in my stash to see what I had and I came up with a cream textured square and a purple colored square that I stamped happy birthday in black. And there's my card! :-)

MFP different card challenge

I made one card for this challenge and I found it so fun that I decided to do a second!! I think they will make neat little gifts for someone that has everything but you want to give them a little something. I started out with a figured polkadot and flower card stock, then I added a few little embellishments to the  Front of the card. I used the leftover piece from my 12 x 12 paper and made the first tag with a yellow ribbon added a little flower in the bottom right corner and stamped on thinking of you. For the second tag I took a solid brown added coordinating colors and stamped happy birthday and topped it off with a yellow ribbon. I really enjoyed this challenge once I got the hang of it 😊😊
I really enjoy working with cards that are more rectangle shape for two reasons. If you're using an
8 1/2 x 11 sheet of paper and you turn it sideways or long ways you can get two cards out of the sheet. The other reason I like it is because it fits very nicely into an A2 sized envelope.

challenge tutorial

For this weeks tutorial challenge I chose a yellow card stock and on the yellow card stock I put the paper that I created through the tutorial. For the tutorial part I started with white card stock and I lightly stamped a olive green And gold. Then  I stamped in brown the congratulations then with my black ink I stamped the baby in the center and then I went back with the olive green and orange to make the footprints. As an added little touch I put the three star buttons up in the top left corner to finish off the card.    Once I got all my materials out it was a very fun challenge thank you!

Hip to be square

For this challenge I started with maroon textured card stock and then I embossed on white with the Swiss dot pattern.  I cut another square out of the maroon and stamped my sentiment on white. Then I cut another longer strip of maroon and put my three squares of pattern flower paper and popped the flowers of the page With a bit of tape foam... I like working with 8 x 10 card stock and I cut it in half sometimes the length ways, but most the time just in half, Then I have two cards. Another reason I like doing that is because then you can flip it open from the bottom to the top or you could open like a book and they fit perfectly into an A2 envelope without doing any extra cutting.

challenge tutorial #34

Once I got this figured out, it was a very fun challenge Tutorial  to make. I will do it again over and over. I used a green stripe and a green polkadotted paper for the card/folder, and for the tags, used the  Green striped paper along with a figured paper that had a little bit of the green color in it then I chose a white ribbon and a teal ribbon at the top of the gift cards. I had some stickers that kind of matched my color coding and so that's what I put on the front of the card pocket and  also on one of the tags. I'm sorry that my pictures are kind of Glare as I ended up having to use my kitchen table as a background 🙃🙃

Halloween Boo

For the Sillouette challenge I started with cream colored card stock and I stamped a honeycomb type pattern in the background using my yellow and orange ink pad then I took my yellow ink pad and kind of smeared it over the top to make the whole background yellow-ish. Then I took my hat and my shoe stamp , used black ink to stamp them and then colored them in with my black marker to make them into a silhouette

http://addictedtocas.blogspot.com

Cas sillouette. Girlz

For the silhouette challenge I started with cream colored card stock a teal ink pad and a cotton ball. I lightly got color onto the cotton ball from my ink pad and just started sponging it onto the textured card stock in a random pattern.  I took my stamp and stamped it in black and colored it in with my black marker to  make it into the silhouette I stamped the sentiments write on the card to keep it clean and simple

Glitz and glitter

This was a very fun challenge I've had this set of stamps for ever and not really used to much. I started out on a cream textured card stock, my teal ink pad and a cotton ball. I dabbed the cotton ball on the teal ink pad and sponged onto the cream colored card stock. I stamped the two ladies in black and made them into silhouettes with my large black marker and stamped the two sayings onto the card to keep it clean and simple then I used my spray glitter and sprayed over the top of the entire card. it's very hard to see unless you enlarge it but it's silver glitter.

Hello there

For this sparkle challenge I chose on a white card stock a printed paper that is a little bit glitzy and shiny in the colors of Coral, mauve and brown. It's a little hard to tell the angle of the picture but the bird is very sparkly.
I  cut out from my scallop punch, a mauve figured paper and stamped hello there in brown ink. Very CAS and easy to duplicate

Pretty kitty watercolor

For this combo challenge i chose to do a stamp that I have never worked with before. I'm pleased with the way it turned out. Stamped the chair on watercolor paper and then heat embossed it ...after it dried, I used my markers and my ink pads to watercolor and blend colors on the print. I found a somewhat matching teal printed paper and a pink polkadotted paper and layer them all together on white card stock to create my card. Added some teal bling to finish the bingo challenge

After the proper drying time I get out my paintbrush and my watercolors and blended the Lily from pink to an orange to yellow. I used two different colored greens on the leaves. I did the background in a sky blue and I went around with a darker green in color all the leaves on the outside edge and when they were dry, I went back over it with yellow to blend it to make it softer green then I mounted it on peach textured card stock and layered that on white card stock

On the front of the small paper I repeated the figured paper from the back bottom paper and the umbrella paper from the second page.then I found a teal paper that was just a little bit contrasting and stamped my thinking of you on white paper.

MFT different card technique with glitter

when I started this challenge I wasn't exactly sure what I was going to do! I guess it ended up OK.
I started with white card stock and a teal piece of paper I did the tutorial with the tape in the glitters and then I had in my stash the die cut out in peach. I had just gotten a new stamp set with the bird on it so I stamped it on white and then actually cut it out and then use my orange gel glitter pen and retraced the words on the bird, stamped happiness across the top in black and topped it off with the teal and peach butterfly.

Then I stamped my bird and cut it out and then used my tan Tombow marker to color in the bird and then I added dark pearls at the bottom to finish out the card.
