Blue snowflake

This challenge I started on black card stock I embossed a snowflake pattern on the white paper. I added a sparkly iridescent ribbon down the right third of the card and added a blue snowflake die cut and placed a Pearl in the center. This is one of my favorite Christmas cards and I actually mass produce them and used them for my own this year to send out. They were fairly quick and easy to make and I like how elegant they look when they were done.

Silver snowflake

For this Silver challenge, I made an embossed snowflake on a medium blue paper. I layered it on white cardstock. I highlighted the snowflake in sliver marker. I took a scrap of a little darker blue paper, layered it on white and in the same silver marker, I wrote, Merry Christmas.

Photo inspiration

For this challenge, I chose the brown colors......I started with a white base, layered on a tan cardstock, then a striped paper. I found a wood grain paper and cut a strip to run a little off center across the middle. I stamped my favorite tree on white in brown ink and layered it on teal, which was one of the colors in the striped paper.

And I used a winter scene stamp of trees and deer in black ink and went over the snow caps With my clear gel pen to create sparkles on the snow. And then I stamped my sentiment in black. it  also goes along with my favorite Christmas song which is Silent Night. It's just close it easy it's a beautiful Christmas song I love to hear it on the piano. And I love to sing it.

Fusion challenge

This is the first time that I am entering at fusion,  and at house of cards,  but I really love doing cart challenges! :-) And what a better time of the year then to showcase all the beautiful things that you can make Christmas cards out of. For this challenge I started with red card stock and using my embossing machine did a snowflake pattern and I used a red candy striped ribbon across the top. In my stash I found a glittery snowflake and pop this pearl into the center.

O Christmas 🎄

For this challenge I chose one of my favorite songs...o Christmas tree..  I think it's very pretty soft flowing song and I also like it because my heritage is German and we as children learn to sing the German version of the song. I .started on a green card stock I took my gold ink pad and lightly went over a creamy  textured  card stock with my sponge and then I used an olive green stamp pad and made the tree pattern with my tree stamp in a random pattern different variations of the olive green color. I stamped my sentiment in black.

O Christmas tree 🎄

One of my favorite Christmas songs is  Oh Christmas tree. We learned the German version as kids and so it just has a special meaning to me.
For this challenge I used a brown paper card stock and with my clear stamp pad and clear embossing powder I chose a Christmas tree. After that was all dry I lightly went over it with my green ink pad to make the Christmas tree  stand up off the paper and then I stamped my sentiment in black.   I was a little disappointed that it didn't show up any better.  It's a little hard to see from the picture unless you enlarge it but it's very pretty in the daylight.

🎁 card

For this gift a challenge I chose a card stock that was already pre-printed and the edging was on it.  Using my large snowflake punch I used black paper and put that just to the left side of the card with the pearl in the center. With  the leftover paper from the card I used the contrasting color and cut  A piece just a little larger than a gift or credit card size. Using  store string and a large needle I handstitched that onto the front of the card to create a pocket for the gift card. I stamped merry Christmas in black in the center and embellished it with a little tiny sticker in the bottom right corner.

For this gold and silver challenge I chose to do a what could be wedding ,Valentine or anniversary card. I started with gold card stock  that had the heart with the love in the center already printed on it.  Using one of my punches, I made a fancy cut on both of the bottom corners. I used my butterfly punch and made three butterflies out of a silver and gold marbled paper. I glue them in a random pattern on the card and popped them up with a little bit of foam tape.

I chose a Brown paper card stock as the background stamped my image on white,  colored it with my colored pencils and markers and layered it on a baby blue paper.

Sketch # 182 remake blue snowman

For the sketch number 182 remake, I started with white card stock. using my embossing machine I did a snowflake pattern on light blue paper. I chose to  reverse stamp One of my snowman stamps. I used my markers to add just a little bit of color to the snowman and my gel pen to re-create a few of the snowflakes on the black. But it's very hard to see that in the picture. I also went over a little bit of the embossing with the silver gel pen which is also very hard to see in the picture.

Then  I used the same solid pink and my oval scallop punch and layered on a plain white oval punch and stamped my sentiment in the center finishing it off with a pretty pink ribbon.

Gold congratulations

I found a gold paper that was kind of splattery looking and I placed that into the center of the  solid area on the card. I stamped congratulations on a cream colored card stock and lifted that up with just a little bit of foam tape. For a CAS card that could be for a 50th wedding anniversary,  a wedding or it could be for Valentine's Day or any other occasion for that matter.
