Spring showers

There really is nothing better than a spring shower to clean up all the winter mess!  I love this image of two little kids walking through the puddles of the spring showers. I Colored with pencils, used a large oval Stitched die cut, Layered on a light blue card stock. I laid it, crossways and cut off all the edges after I had used light blue ink on my white card stock to give it a little depth. I used raindrop gems as accents.

The image is from house, mouse colored with pencils are used to small, oval stitch around the image, layered it on a piece of red that I had rounded the corners on adding four buttons and a bow. The flip card is out of red, and I coordinated it with a spring flower full of roses and added a banner sentiment in black ink. I hate real mice… but this little one turned out pretty cute!

Celebrate floral

Snow special

This little cutie made a cute Christmas/winter card. I used some new markers to color the image, used an oval diecut and some crystal stickles for snow. Layered on green cardstock and then white.. added a layered sentiment box.

Yellow Spring

I started on bright sunshiny yellow card stock and I used to die cut in the center of my card so that it would show the sentiment I embellished with a strip of blue polka dotted ribbon across the top and added a bunny, and eggs at the bottom,  a tag with an egg.

Slimline cute as a button Easter baby doll

This little baby doll is all ready for Spring and Easter. Done in soft pastel colors including lilac pink and green. Added little chicks. Used slimline diecut skeleton to create an “frame”, colored with pencils and markers.

Wire tree

 This is a snippets card with old and new things. The card base is some old cardstock. The Christmas paper was new this season. The holly berry was an old snippet of a the end I cut off of a paper. I grabbed a snippet of  wire and shaped it into a tree and added a gold star to the top.

Stencil Gods timing

I stenciled this entire card, then went back and colored wire pencils. I recently received this stamp set and so decided to try it with a new stencil. I think it paired well. I added yellow gems to the center of the flowers.
