Blue mountain

This challenge was fun to me. Watercoloring  is something that I have just recently started to play around with.   My image is stamped in black versa ink and then I used embossing powder and my heat gun, to make it raised and I did this on watercolor paper. After the embossing dried then I started in with my watercolor and I think it turned out fine ....sometimes I have problems with using  too much water and then everything bleeds all over so I have to be very cautious there. I chose to put my watercolor design on a Woodland in Boston brown paper with a simple sentiment so it could be used for any occasion. My husband decided he really liked it and had a friend who has recently had hip surgery, so the card is going out in the mail today! :😎

  2. I agree with Sandie.....the embossed background is lovely as is your water colouring. I must confess I'm rubbish at it hence I don't stamp often. Thank you for sharing it with us at OLL Challenges Wynn DT

  3. A beautiful card, the reeds and rushes in the background are lovely with the lovely lake scene. It reminds me of Blea Tarn in the Lake District. Thank you for sharing at Ooh La La Creations
