Green Star quilt embossed

This was replicated after a quilt that my grandmother made me and I’ve always loved it! It was done with strips of scrap paper trimming the ends to form the star layered on a Swiss dart embossed paper and then on gold but all done in my favorite color of teal/ green. I used a larger scrap of Teal to make the tail on the bottom and added a special birthday wish with a large enamel dot in the center. I made this card for my sister, who also enjoyed my grandmother‘s quilts.
